What a wonderful tribute to your clearly superbly wonderful sister. I'm grateful to know Jo a wee bit through you, her devoted brother. What treasures you both are!

Bob, Having lost two siblings from yet another good Davis Catholic family, I want you to know I share your pain and understand of the total weirdness that happens when the birth order is changed. As the only girl in the middle of four boys I was quite shaken when my younger brother said, “Hey Liz, now you’re the oldest sibling “. (Brothers are compassionate like that.) All kidding aside it is quite daunting to adjust to life without those you have been closet to forever. Sending you prayers for peace and comfort. Liz Pleau Hosmer

An incredible woman, so very sorry she is no longer physically here. But in your heart, and others, she lives on as vibrant as ever.

Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt remembrance of her with the rest of us, so we may marvel in a life well lived.

So sorry for your loss. She sounds like a wonderful sister.

I liked the Happy Trails tribute since I got to take a picture of Roy and his family at Disneyland when I was a kid.

Bob, I am so sorry you lost Jo. I can’t imagine how you are feeling because I still have my sister and brother. I am the oldest and it is impossible for me to think about losing either of them. You have shared wonderful memories of Jo with us. It’s important to remember how much you loved each other. Although you will miss her, she earned her place in heaven as a giving person. She is in pain no longer. My thoughts are for your serenity at this difficult time.

"I countered by telling her if she stuck it out at her chosen school, that 57 percent of Sacramento State graduates eventually went on to college." That's gold, Jerry, gold!

But seriously, my best to your family. Beautiful tribute. I'll have to read it a second time with some Roy Rogers playing in the background, too.
