Friday Fish Fry: The Constitution, a coup, the will of the people and a cat
I could have won a Blue Ribbon at the Yolo County Fair but I didn't want to break anyone's heart
DID DEMOCRATS VIOLATE THE U.S. CONSTITUTION? ... Donald Trump has declared on numerous occasions that it was "unconstitutional" for certain members of the Democratic Party to strongly suggest to Joe Biden that he should withdraw from the presidential race.
After consulting our in-house constitutional expert, me, I have been able to determine that nowhere in the Preamble or Articles or the 27 Amendments to the U.S. Constitution is Joe Biden's name mentioned.
Also, after scouring all 27 Amendments with a large magnifying glass and a fine-toothed comb, I cannot find any evidence that telling someone to take a hike is unconstitutional.
The Second Amendment got my special attention in this matter, but since it appears that none of those individuals urging President Biden to leave the race were armed, it doesn't apply.
Rude and insensitive? Perhaps.
Unconstitutional? Nope.
