Stay the course or stay in the way - it's crunch time for Joe Biden

BY GEORGE ... On the same day, no less, both George Clooney and George Stephanopoulos basically said it was time for Joe Biden to get out of the race.

Clooney said this after hosting a fundraiser for the president, while Stephanopoulos made an off-the-cuff remark that he didn't think Biden could serve four more years. The comment was made to a complete stranger who confronted him on the sidewalk. Stephanopoulos didn't deny the truth of the statement, but regretted saying it. Tellingly, he did not disown what he said.

Under the "Three Georges and You're Out" rule of politics, if one more George comes forward with the same message, Biden will have to withdraw from the race.
