Lame ducks, great quotes, strange tax breaks and free zinnias
This summer day is filled with interesting nuggets
BIDEN HIS TIME ... Before Joe Biden became the lamest of lame ducks, he had announced his 100 Day Plan for the first 100 days of his second term, beginning on January 20, 2025.
He indicated that the 100 Day Plan was one the prime reasons we should vote for him come November 5.
Well, a funny thing happened on the way to the inauguration. Joe Biden quickly became yesterday's news and nobody paid any attention to his call for reforming the Supreme Court. A proposal, by the way, that's dead on arrival anyway.
But hey, Mr. President, there may be fewer than 100 days between now and Election Day, but there are actually 173 days until you leave office on January 20. That's nearly six months, even with time off for good behavior.
So guess what, you can institute that 100 Day Plan today. Or even on the first day of October. I mean, if it's good for America on January 20, it's certainly good for America today.
Why wait?
