Not to worry America, Dr. Stephanopolous is in the house to determine the president's fitness for office
Some helpful hints for George and Joe heading into tonight's interview with the fate of the world on the line
It's all up to George.
Apparently, whether Joe Biden stays in the presidential race or heads to a 55-and-over community in Scranton is all in the hands of George Stephanopoulos, who is interviewing the president on national television tonight.
While Biden hopes to calm the fears of the 99.8 percent of Americans who think he can no longer be trusted with his hand on the nuclear button - "Gee, I thought that was my garage door opener" - it's unclear what Stepanopolous' role is here.
Is he supposed to help rehabilitate the president's image by lobbing him softballs or will he be a take-no-prisoners journalist out to show the world just how fragile the president truly is?
It's also unclear if at the end of the debate - I mean interview - will Stephanopoulos issue some sort of medical diagnosis of the president's fitness to serve four more years or even four more minutes in the Oval Office? In other words, will this be a conversation or a colonoscopy?
