Trump "country" seems to be cracking! Glad to see AOC in action and speaking up for the next generation. I may not agree with all she says but I sure admire her Energy and courage at this time in our chaotic history! Pictures wonderful. Should be on front page on every news outlet in this region!
I’m a semi-pro photographer. By which I mean I’ve made a sum of money selling photos about equal to the cost of my cameras and gear. I suppose that just means I’m a fiscally astute hobbyist.
Whatever. My point is that I can recognize professional work when I see it, and Mick’s picture of AOC waving with the flag behind her is the kind of picture any budding photojournalist should be proud of.
Back in my day, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, that’s the kind of picture that would go on the AP or UPI wires and launch a career.
Hands down, the best crowd shots I've seen of the event. You'd think the local media 'giants' would have spent at least some effort in establishing a few shots that visually verified the claims of 35,000 attendees. Good for you.
I would've been there, but we were in Ashland for a week of plays. I tried hard not to read the news while we were there. Sigh... back to the awful reality of our times.
Well done Bob and Dunnings in general. I was hoping you would cover. Progressives are our future! Weak opposition to a party that has gone fascist won’t get it. We need strong solutions to education debt, affordable housing and solid middle class wages. Tax the rich. Far better that we should tax them.

Wouldn't that be wonderful, Helen?

Nice work, bro
Thanks, brother

Mick and Emme worked very hard to capture the scene.
What an affair, wish I'd been there. Malvina Reynolds, from The Day the Freeway Froze.
Thanks John.
If you had been there, the crowd would have been 35,001

Thank you for the coverage. Stunning Dunning pictures! You are building a media empire...
Thank you so so much. Very kind of you.
Mick and Emme are thrilled to be a part of this.
God Bless

Indeed.
They did a fantastic job of capturing the event. Love the corroboration of 35k and a line 3 miles long.
Those are the facts.
Thanks, Kari
So cool! Don and I were there but way back in line. Seeing all the press on the platform made me nostalgic.
I remember when Bernie came to UC Davis and wowed the crowd. Also ate at Black Bear Diner.
I was there! It was thrilling!!
I've heard that many times Catherine
Fantastic. I love the images of the crowd. This is what America looks like.
Amen
The photos are just as good as the ones with The New York Times story (by Davis’ Kellen Browning)! https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/16/us/politics/bernie-sanders-aoc-trump-democrats.html?unlocked_article_code=1.AU8.F-c6.6Y6Fk4Dsaa7b&smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare
Great pictures. Nice to see the crowd shots showing Boomers to Gen Z. People across the generations are pissed. That's a good sign.
Thanks J.D.
Yes, to use a now-banned word, there was great "diversity" in that crowd.
The Dunning Press! Way to report!
You're making me smile, Virginia.
And bringing a tear to my eyes.
Wow! Just wow! What a huge turnout! This makes me so happy!
