School teacher reveals serious disability that disqualifies Kamala Harris from being president
Critical information comes out as the presidential campaign nears the homestretch
I don't get personal letters in the mail much anymore.
But there it was this morning, nestled snugly against a chubby PG&E bill in my humble East Davis mailbox.
My name and address were accurately hand-lettered and there was a Forever Stamp in the upper righthand corner featuring Santa coming down the chimney with his boots almost touching an unlit fire log. Apparently, it was a no-burn day when this letter was mailed. Either way, it's never too early for a little Christmas cheer.
There was no return address, which told me whoever sent this my way wished to remain anonymous. Then again, I hadn't opened the envelope yet, so maybe the letter might be signed.
Inside was a relatively long, single-spaced, typed letter, probably 500 words or so.
It did not appear to be manufactured so it could be sent to a million people, but these days you can never tell.
"Dear Bob," it began, as so much of my mail does.
"I am an elementary school teacher."
And I am an elementary school graduate. Maybe you were even my teacher. Is that you Miss Marguerite Montgomery?
Seriously, though, as far as I'm concerned, you have one of the most important jobs in the world. How you treat the kids in your care and how you teach them about the world around them will affect them for the rest of their lives.
So thank you for your efforts.
"Kamala Harris has 'Auditory Processing Disorder.' "
Say what?
