Such a precious story, Bob. And how wonderful that you had that last special celebration all together.

Thanks so much, Judy. That means a lot to me.

You never know what is just around the corner.

I feel very fortunate to have had that final goodbye and that last wonderful evening with my Dad.

There are truly too many to count, if we just look around, Donna.

Thanks for your kind words.

Brought tears to my eyes also. Loss is inevitable and gratitude sort of an antidote.

Indeed, Arnie. Perfectly said.

Thanks for sharing Bob. Our parents died young – at 61 and at 70. We don’t understand why things happen as they do, but so glad you were able to all get together.

There are so many times since then that we think of them (especially at holiday time). Happy Holidays!

Thanks, Diana.

Hard to understand the why and the when for sure.

But we miss them at this time of year and all the year long.

Thank you Bob, God had blessed us with an Angel. We are very grateful for precious gift we had for 8 months, we are still learning what she unwittingly taught us.

My daughter died on 11/8/86 SIDS. Thanksgiving was a terror for my wife and I. Everyone else's kids were alive and running around. We spent Christmas in Mexico. Bob, thanks for sharing your stories and letting me share mine.

What a bitter sweet memory. You are such a good story teller. I lost my dad at 76, on Thanksgiving day, in 2020. I’m forever grateful I decided to go see him the night before. He’d been sick, so it wasn’t a total surprise, like yours was. Thank God for family.

Thanks, Dondra. Both of our dads were 76, which seems so young these days. You were so blessed to have him in your life.
