UC Davis football fans are invited to "Pro Day" to see how Aggie athletes fare under the watchful eyes of NFL scouts

Have you ever wondered what NFL scouts are looking for when they evaluate athletes who have completed their collegiate careers and are ready to dip their toes in the waters of professional football?
If so, then the UC Davis "Pro Day" is for you.
On Monday, March 31, dozens of NFL scouts will gather at UC Davis Health Stadium to put a number of pro football hopefuls through a series of tests to evaluate their abilities to play the pro game.
While most of the athletes will be from UC Davis, the Pro Day lineup also features collegiate stars from both Hawaii and Sacramento State.
The best news is that these intense and complex evaluations are open to the public, free of charge.
Testing in the stadium will begin at 11 a.m. and will include UC Davis stars Lan Larison (RB), Zach Kennedy (DL), Evan Bearden (DL), Miles Hastings (QB), C.J. Hutton (WR), Trent Tompkins (WR), David Meyer (LB), Rory Bell (K), Chaz Davis (WR) and Luka Sarac (LB).
Come Friday, April 4, UCD will kick off Spring Practice that will see the Aggies take part in 15 sessions, with the annual Aggie Spring Game wrapping things up on April 26 at 4 p.m.
All practices are open to the public, free of charge.
Fans are welcome to come watch the stadium portion of the Aggie Pro Day.
"We're excited to be back out on the field finding joy in the daily process," said Aggie head coach Tim Plough.
"Spring is my favorite time because we can focus on development and building our team for 2025. We want all alumni to feel welcome to come out and be a part of the experience with us. Come to meetings, come to practice and feel Aggie Pride with us. Our goal is also to have a great turnout on April 25th for our Alumni Golf Tournament and on April 26th for the Spring Game. We want the Aggie Spring Game to be a yearly event for our alumni and Davis community to celebrate Aggie Football."
